Background 2005:
For this years’ press event, the Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen was successfully looking for a very special location: even before the official opening of the new Frankfurt “House of Literature” (Literaturhaus), the bank was able to utilize the newly built house for their media event. The House of Literature had just relocated from an old villa in Bockenheim to a new location at the riverbanks of the Main.
COMMPANY’s task this year was to create a high profile show program that matched to the literature theme.
Background 2007:
This year again, the main focus was on finding yet another exceptional location in Frankfurt " the result was an event in the historical transport museum. The event hall covers a space of over 2000 sqm and usually houses an exhibition of historical trams and buses dating back 125 years. Located in Schwannheimer Forst, the historical tram depot was showcased with unusual lighting and decorations, and provided an extraordinary ambience for the event amidst 30 original exhibits.
COMMPANY was also again responsible for creating a supporting programme which was to be both suitably sophisticated and with an affinity to literature. For this, COMMPANY managed to win three icons of German language culture: former top TV newsreaders Dagmar Berghoff, Jo Brauner and Wilhelm Wieben availed themselves for a gala event for the first time outside of their current German reading tour.
