Background:
The national Open House is an annual event and the most important client-related promotion for the local branch offices. Over a 3-day period, the branches present product innovations and show entire product families in a workflow and solutions from pre-press to finishing. The events are usually complemented by presentations on printing and related commercial topics.
The branch offices also use the Open Houses as an opportunity to include a client and/or partners evening with a social program.
Agency assignment:
2002:
IIn a "rush-job" situation (4 weeks), COMMPANY developed an event concept for the Hanover branch office which involved a compulsory route through the exhibition. For lack of sufficient seating capacity, folding stools made from cardboard were used in the presentation area. A guided lighting system and new video visualisation possibilities contributed significantly to the success of the event.
By the way: the folding stools organised especially for this particular event have now become standard furniture at all presentations in the branch offices.
COMMPANY also managed the event-related technical equipment for the Open Houses in the Berlin and Frankfurt branches.
2003:
Building on the experiences of the events in 2002, COMMPANY developed a concept the Open House 2003 based on the topical parameters from central Marketing. The agency managed the planning, organisation and implementation of seven of the eight HDD branch offices´ events in 2003.
