Literary treats and old trams

For its 2007 gala reception the regional state bank Landesbank Hessen- Thüringen presented its guests with a really unusual event venue in Frankfurt " the historical transport museum. Extending over nearly 2.000 m², the old hall houses an exhibition of historical trams and omnibuses from the past 125 years. Situated in the Schwanheimer Forst, the former depot was set off with exceptional lighting and decoration, lending the event in the midst of 30 original exhibits a quite remarkable ambiance.

Besides the room design, the agency, Commpany from Nidderau, had the task of creating a thematically aspirational fringe programme with a literary slant. For this it was able to engage the services of “the icons of sophisticated linguistic style” " the three former news presenters Dagmar Berghoff, Jo Brauner und Wilhelm Wieben. The trio made themselves available for a gala event for the first time, aside from their German book tour. Their tongue-incheek programme entitled “Are you speaking in the present tense?” pinpointed the bizarre jargon of the present day and thoroughly amused and entertained the guests.

For the first time this year Commpany also devised the invitation and mailing " from its design and art direction through the packaging down to the logistics. Agency: Commpany
