As the applause ceased and Wladimir Kaminer thanked his audience for its attention, it became apparent, that entertainment and social engagement are not contradicting each other. The charity reading, initiated and presented by COMMPANY, with one of the most popular, contemporary German speaking authors, the Russian Wladimir Kaminer, took place on May, 12 2005 at the Volkshaus Enkheim in Frankfurt. The reason for this event was COMMPANY’s ongoing support of an orphanage in St. Petersburg, which has become one of COMMPANY’s key initiatives beside their regular business. Like previously done in the past, COMMPANY continues to aid people in need with a clear focus on children in need. With this charity reading the young author Wladimir Kaminer contributed to COMMPANY’s engagement.
More than 200 guests and customers followed COMMPANY’s invitation and joined the event, which highlighted in a discussion with Mario Flaschentraeger, managing director of COMMPANY and Wladimir Kaminer. The highlight of the two-hour-event certainly was the reading presented by the 35 year-old, charismatic native of Moscow, who lives in Berlin since 13 years. With his charming Slavic accent Wladimir Kaminer recited short stories from his everyday life and passages from his latest book “Mama, I am worried.” Before the actual event a gathering took place in the new COMMPANY offices.
COMMPANY would like to express its thanks to all guests and customers, which attended this event and enabled a 5.000 EUR donation to the mentioned orphanage in St. Petersburg. More details regarding the donation will be published on COMMPANY’s website next month.
COMMPANY will continue to be a good corporate citizen by organising and supporting projects for people in need.
On May 12, 2005 COMMPANY for the first time organises a reading with the Russian writer Wladimir Kaminer, who is famous for his numerous satirical publications (Russian disco and others) and is considered to be among the most read contemporary authors in Germany.
The proceeds of the reading will go to an orphanage in St. Petersburg. This event is co-sponsored by the bookstore chain “Hugendubel” and other print medias. All details related to the tickets sales and the location are available on our homepage as of April 2005.

Dear customers, dear partners,
the entire team of COMMPANY would like to take the opportunity to thank all customers for the trust shown in our company during the past year. We would also like to thank our numerous partners and suppliers. Without their support some of the projects could not have been accomplished.
It has become a tradition that COMMPANY engages in charity projects not only during the Christmas Season but also throughout the year. Instead of giving Christmas gifts to clients, charity donations are being made.
In 2004 our agency has supported the following projects (part of them on behalf of our customers)
Also in 2005 COMMPANY has committed itself to donate a part of the profits to various charitable institutions. We kindly ask our partners to join our commitment. We should all feel the necessity to help and support those who are in need.
